Michael Fajardo—with RiverPlace since 2003—designs and implements training protocols consistent with the Optimum Performance Training (OPT) paradigm, a unique [training] concept that addresses and works to improve the efficiency and quality of movement prior to the application of heavy resistances and intense demands.

Since his graduation from Oregon State University (Biochemistry and Biophysics) in 1994, Michael has accumulated years of experience training people in the fitness/athletic club environment. A Certified Personal Fitness Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Michael trains individuals new to regimented exercise as well as high-performing athletes, but works best with those who have committed to the process of increasing their body’s functional capacity and improving performance in their chosen physical endeavors.
